Vascular Disease can affect your circulation, your heart and your life. And in many cases there are very few symptoms. That according to Sandy Brown and Heather Garrett both of Memorial Health Care Services. Brown is director of surgical and ambulatory planning and business development. Garrett is a lead vascular tech. They both came by the WUTC studio last week to discuss the important of vascular screening for women as well as men. The vascular screening program began Oct. 7th at memorialâs Ooltewah location. The next screening is on Wednesday, following by a screening on Dec. 1st.
Vascular disease includes any condition that affects your circulatory system, such as peripheral artery disease. This ranges from diseases of the arteries, veins and lymph vessels to blood disorders that affect circulation
